Julia Moffat

Julia has over 25 years experience as a professional animal care giver. She has worked as a veterinary assistant for 15 years and is a certified wildlife rehabilitator with Level I - The Companion Concept- dog training.

Over the last Five and half years Julia has managed a dog rescue Keshet Kennels. Keshet Kennels specializes in providing a safe place for large breed dogs who don't have a chance in the system.

Julia is sensitive to the needs of dogs and is keen to share her knowledge and enthusiasm to ensure your dog is healthy and happy with the development of Know Thy Dog, Canine Care and First Aid Manual and Course.

Julia will manage your requests and ensure Know Thy Dog Canine Care and First Aid Courses are available to meet your needs.

Chris Moffat

Chris is a certified paramedic and is presently working on his Occupational Health and Safety Degree (University of Alberta). He has over 20 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services.

Chris has extensive experience as a Canadian Red Cross Society Instructor in Standard First Aid, Wilderness First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation).

With Chris's knowledge, love of animals and strength as an instructor, he has contributed extensively to the development of how to help people treat and care for their dog at home, and will conduct Know Thy Dog Canine Care and First Aid Courses.
